Book Launch Package

A book launch is the engine that runs for at least six months and the purpose is to help you sell books and create relationships with people who will love you and your book.

Our clients write non-fiction books about many topics with the exception of children’s books and memoirs.

The author will sign a contract for at least six months and pay a monthly retainer. The package can include the following items based on the book topic and the wishes of the author:

  • Create a launch timeline.
  • One proofreading session for the entire book before it is edited professional.
  • Help choose a book cover.
  • Discuss formatting and come up with a plan.
  • Research with Google Keyword Planer and Amazon categories and keywords and discuss with author.
  • Review author biography and book description and make suggestions.
  • Create audiences with author and research Google keywords, hashtags, Facebook and LinkedIn groups based on audience.
  • Create Amazon Author Central and add the required information.
  • Find and pitch at least 10 bloggers and influencers with a pitch created by DVA and author.
  • Find up to 10 comparable books and reverse engineer them to find keywords, categories, ranking and how the authors promoted the book.
  • Find up to 10 Facebook groups and pitch book.
  • Find up to 10 LinkedIn groups and pitch book.
  • Find and pitch book to GoodReads groups.
  • Find and list book on at least 10 Goodreads Listopia lists.
  • Setup 3 free book websites and add your information so you can get a backlink to Google.
  • Find and pitch 5+ guest post opportunities with a pitch created by DVA and author.
  • Find and pitch 5+ media companies and send a pitch created by DVA and author.
  • Find and pitch at least 30 podcast guest opportunities and pitch created by DVA and author.
  • Create 30 social media excerpts and callouts.
  • Find at least 10 speaking engagements and send a pitch created by DVA and author.
  • Search for subscription boxes that sell books covering the topic of the book and pitch them on the book.
  • Research bulk book buyers and pitch them on the book.
  • Find appropriate book awards, entry free and deadlines.
  • Pitch book to five book summary sites.
  • Find holiday topics applicable to the book subject and teach authors to take advantage of them.

The book must be published by the end of the six month launch package so that DVA can create and execute the package. If an author anticipates taking more than six months publishing and marketing the book an extension of the contract may be offered.
